[Video] ProTip: Add An Image Field to Your Mobile Form
Image fields can be easily added to your mobile forms
Leveraging your device’s native camera feature, your teams can capture and input photos into their mobile forms from anywhere. Image fields can also reference your device’s photo library, allowing users to input previously captured images (this is especially helpful when completing expense reports or adding photos of a project’s progress).
Customer use case
DESHAZO, a crane manufacturing and servicing operation, manages equipment installed at “extreme heights”. These unorthodox working conditions make it difficult to safely use cameras, limiting client insight into the progress of their services. Most of the time we were unable to show our customer the exact situation, we could [only] explain it to them verbally,” recalled Tray Ivey, president of DESHAZO’s service group. With mobile forms, technicians working on cranes can easily use their device’s native camera to include an image of equipment damage in their form, and even add annotations. This means that rather than simply describing a project’s needs to clients, DESHAZO personnel can include an image to illustrate captured data. Read DESHAZO’s full customer story here.
