Use the GoFormz Public Forms feature to easily share links that allow people outside of your organization to input data and complete mobile forms. With Public Forms, mobile form drafts can be easily and securely shared with users outside of your GoFormz account – simplifying the collection of signatures, customer surveys, new client information, and so much more. Once a link to your Public Form has been distributed, recipients can load the digital form, enter data into the highlighted, editable fields of your choice, and hit ‘complete’ when ready.
Getting started with Public Forms is easy: simply select which form fields to make editable, add an expiration date (if applicable), and share your Public Form link! Every GoFormz account comes with 15 free Public Form submission credits, with one credit = one Public Form submission.
Example use case
Imagine you are organizing a school administrator or teacher, organizing a field trip to a local museum. With paper forms, you have to rely on your students to bring home their permission slips and have them signed by their parents, in a timely manner. With GoFormz, rather than waiting on students to deliver their signed permission slips (and risking the loss of signed forms, student negligence, incorrectly completed forms, etc.) your form Template can be made public. A link to your Public Form can then be emailed directly to your class’ parents, streamlining authorizations and allowing your team to track submissions in real-time. ProTip: Your Public Form can be configured so that only the parents Signature field is made editable, reducing opportunities for error. Your Public Form can also be equipped with an expiration date, ensuring submissions can only take place during a specific time period.
Should I make my Form or Template public?
When a Form is made public, it is considered a single-use Public Form. This means that it can be used once, before no longer being available to the third-party user – the perfect solution for collecting customer Signatures and other limited amounts of data.
When a Template is made public, it is considered ‘multi-use’, allowing multiple users to submit completions – the ideal solution for surveys, permission slips, and more. Templates made public can be equipped with an expiration date, allowing GoFormz users to determine when form submissions should no longer be available.
