Challenge: Inconsistent, incomplete data capture
Furniture Medic Disaster Restoration struggled with inconsistent and incomplete data collection across their many dealers and visited disaster sites. Inspection forms needed to complete critical insurance claim validations were handed in with missing information and dealers were burdened with transferring site photos from cameras to computers and finally to email – threatening the 72-hour deadline for each inspection.

Solution: Standardized, digital documentation
Using GoFormz to digitize their existing paper inspection forms, field personnel can now input claim data directly into a form on an iPad. These mobile inspection forms can also host Images, allowing team members to leverage their device’s camera to input photos of any damage. Once completed, GoFormz then generates a PDF of the submitted inspection form, which is then sent to the insurance adjuster for review.

GoFormz made it easy for me to create a standard inspection form for all dealers to collect data at disaster sites, including information like the problem description, solution, repair costs, and estimated replacement costs. As a result, insurance adjusters are getting the data they need, faster.

Results: Improved inspections and elevated customer care
With more consistent, thorough inspection data, insurance adjusters now receive the information they need to approve a claim. With inspections completed faster, dealers can often schedule repairs services on the spot – expediting and improving customer care, without sacrificing data quality.

With the success of their digital inspection forms, Furniture Medic has now mobilized their customer authorization forms and invoices, allowing dealers to rapidly obtain necessary authorizations and route invoices for service requests, directly from their mobile devices.
