4 Mobile Form Features That Enforce Business Procedures

Keeping your team compliant and proactive is a key aspect of refining your workflow, and can be easily improved using modern tools like mobile forms.

Mobile forms provide a variety of fields, features and automations, digitally completing work that would have otherwise taken hours to complete manually.

So how can mobile forms help enforce your business procedures and ensure work is being completed correctly? Here are four GoFormz mobile forms features that enforce procedures, while reducing errors and redundancies:

  1. Required fields
Guarantee important fields are completed before a form can submitted, using Required fields. The Required field property can be applied to any of your fields and even be dynamic (e.g. a field will only become Required if a specific Checkbox is selected). Required fields help enforce procedures by ensuring critical data, like Signatures, are captured.

  2. Uneditable text
Often times, contracts, waivers and safety forms will include text that should not and can not be changed. To safeguard against mistakes (e.g. accidentally deleting Terms & Conditions), when building your Template add your desired text as a Default value and make it uneditable. Now you can include legal information, terms and conditions and more, without fear of overwrites.

  3. Automated routing
Ensure completed forms are instantly sent to the right people, every time, with Automated Workflows. Configure your completed form to automatically email a copy to specific customers, partners, or colleagues, or an email address input into forms.

  4. Author only
By selecting the ‘Author Only’ property when creating your Form Template, that specific field can only be edited by the user who creates the new Form. For example, if a field technician were to create a new Inspection form, they would be the only user who was able to edit that field.
