[New] Improvements to Our List View Form Builder

We have just released an exciting new update to our Template Editor, making it easier than ever to configure your Template’s List View.

What is List View?

Two viewing modes can be used to fill out your digital forms: Form View and List View.

List View is a small-screen optimized viewing mode that can be easily configured in the GoFormz Template Editor. While Form View maintains the original look and feel of your document, your Template’s List View is formatted as an 'app-like’ index of fields that can be easily filled out on smaller devices, like phones.

GoFormz app users can easily toggle between their Template’s Form View and List View while filling out forms – providing end-users with a more flexible data entry interface.

What’s new in the List View editor?

We’ve updated our List View editor to provide a more intuitive form builder experience. This optimized experience provides users with the ability to make inline edits to their form fields, add fields to their List View faster, and easily rearrange and organize fields within Sections and Tabs. These improvements include:

  • A more intuitive, drag-and-drop editor experience

  • The ability to rename fields directly within the List View editor

  • The ability to reorder feels within Sections and Tabs as needed

The revamped List View editor interface now also more closely reflects how a Template’s List View will appear within the app, granting form builders better control over their edits and end product.

How do I configure my form Template’s List View?

Your form Template’s List View can be easily configured directly within the Template Editor.

Simply select the List View tab at the top of the Template Editor window to manage your form’s List View fields and organization. You choose to either select which fields you would like included within your form’s List View, or you can use the Auto Build button to automatically populate the fields from your Form View into your form’s List View, and create a default layout.
