3 Ways to Use Template Events to Simplify Form Sharing

Template Events are a fantastic way to ensure critical daily tasks are completed while enforcing workflow steps and data capture rules

Among the many ways to leverage Template Events is automated form sharing. Form builders can easily configure Templates to automatically route a copy of a completed form to key players, once specific actions have taken place.

With Template Events, form sharing can be drastically simplified, resulting in more consistent communication, improved customer care, and accelerated processing for critical tasks like billing:

  1. Instantly route copies of completed forms to customers, colleagues, and other collaborators. With Template Events, you can easily configure Templates to instantly route a copy of a completed form to the customer, colleague, or collaborator email entered within the form.

  2. Use Template Variables to customize form recipients and email content. Your Template Events can be further optimized via Template Variables, which represent a variety of a form’s properties that are not known until the form has been filled out. For example, a customer name or email address. These Template Variables can be included when configuring your Template Event, instructing the Template to dynamically route a copy of the complete form via email to the email address entered within the form. Even the body of your email can include Template Variables, allowing your operation to fully customize what information is routed to the final recipient. Note: A Template Variable will be added within brackets ([CUSTOMERNAME]) when configuring your Template Event.

  3. Automatically transfer forms to colleagues for them to fill out and complete. Finally, Template Events can streamline the sharing of forms between colleagues. Once a form has been completed from your Template, Template Events can instruct it to be transferred to a coworker, for them to reopen, fill out, and complete with their input data – significantly streamlining collaboration.
