Once you have created your Form Templates, you can now use them to fill out forms on your mobile device. It’s super easy to do on your tablets and phones using our GoFormz App. For example, here’s how you do it on your iPad (and it’s pretty much the same as on your other mobile devices).
Step One: To fill out a form on your iPad, first select a Form Template
There’s no need to sift through your entire collection—our Template Dashboard simplifies this process by sorting your recently used templates into a convenient section of their own. Tap your desired template to create a new form, which will open in the Form Editor. Presto!
Step Two: Enter Your Information
There are two ways to view your form: in Form View or List View. What’s the difference? It comes down to user experience—List View allows the author to view the exact same fields using sections and tabs, making the form simpler to navigate on smaller screens like phones.
Form View, however, allows the user to navigate the form exactly as it was laid out (ie it looks like a paper form or pdf), keeping things familiar. Want the best of both worlds? Tap the [...] button to select your desired view, as you please. Entering your data is simple with GoFormz’ plethora of embedded features. With our Smart Fields, harness the power of auto-calculations and workflow rules. Looking to incorporate information paper forms just can’t handle? Our mobile forms host Contextual Information like photos, geocoding and maps, allowing users to consolidate all the information they’ll need.
Step Three: Complete Your Form
Once you are finished filling out your form, tap the [...] button at the bottom of your editor, and select Complete. If you are working online, the data from your app will immediately sync to your GoFormz account—uploading the completed form in its entirety. Working offline? No problem, once you get back online, the app will sync with your account. You may encounter an error message if required fields have not been entered. Simply dismiss the error message, enter the required information and select Complete.
Step Four: Revisions & Permission
Once you have completed your form, you will notice the [Complete] button change to [Reopen]. If you are looking to revise information you previously entered, you must have permission to do so, and will need to reopen the form. Voila! You’ve completed your form on your iPad.
